the most ancient flower on earth. Born into being approximately 95 million years ago in a time before bees where there to taste their sweet nectar. They hold a deep intelligence and strength that has allowed them to exist through the ages. Honoured for centuries by many different cultures the magnolia flower has been imbibed with deep meaning and divine connotation. Blossoming with timeless beauty the magnolia brings forth ancient wisdom to be savoured in our modern world. My intention is to use the Magnolia flower as a symbol that represents the evolution of our dance form, bridging its ancient origins to our modern world while sustaining it’s timeless beauty and grace.
